They brought us to a new backpacker style hotel to stay.
They told us the whole 5th floor level toilet is broken and are unable to check us into the hotel. They made us pay the same amount to stay in their neighbour backpacker hotel.

The hotel's location was excellent. Located outside Exit 6 of Ximending mrt, it offers quick access to the mrt and to the numerous shops in the area. It helps that Ay-Chung Flour-Rice Noodle was just around the corner. Macs breakfast was served at 8am every morning and they have a micro-wave at the reception level (5) to heat it up. While my wife wasn't too pleased with the size of the room and how it differed from the photos, I was quite happy to find a very new and clean bathroom and a queen bed with clean sheets. All that we need to rest our heads. A lcd tv is provided with access to many channels if you can't sleep at night.
The room's small size and the absence of windows can ignite one's claustrophobia. Repeated requests to fix a spoilt lamp in the room and a complain about the aircon's noise was met flatly with a "we've looked at it and we can't change these things" nonchalant reply. A request to extend the room beyond the standard noon checkout was denied and they do charge NT$200/hr if you need the room. In short, you get a great location, clean room and even breakfast but don't expect anything beyond what you have paid for, which is exceptionally great value.

We liked the comforts of this low-budget hotel. Close to a subway station, the location was very convenient. - the personnel was very helpful as expected.

Room was rather spacious
No huge signboard to show where the hotel is indicated. Instead it was a banner and the banner was in a collapsing manner that we did not realise it. The life was very filthy as it was shared by other tenants of the building.

Love the location. Easily accessible by MRT. Lots of shops and eatery around. great. Hotel housekeeping did a good job.
Room size is reasonable but would be better if it is bigger. Mattress is too soft.

Location is fantastic. Just 1 min walk from Ximen mrt. The hotel room is fairly decent, clean and rather spacious. It comes with a small safe which is convenient.
Very noisy if you stay on 5th floor till about 11 pm. There are people practicing/playing muscial instrument including drums on 6th floor till 11 pm on weekend and 10 pm on weekdays. Difficult to find the hotel is located on 5th floor and there is no sign board outside the building. The lift and the lobby is very run down and old. The room does not come with wardrobe.
